Last Celebrity Chef of the School Year
The school year is coming to an end, but that does not mean amazing food from our school cafeteria has to also. On Wednesday, May 25, the Farm to Cafeteria Program will host our third, and final, celebrity chef event of the school year. With our luck, we were able to get Executive Chef at Rosario, Raymond Southern, to plan and prepare a Mediterranean-inspired meal!
On the menu will be Youvetsi (local beef, whole grain orzo & tomatoes), Pide (Turkish style bread) and Ekmek (custard like desert). A Greek themed salad bar will accompany the entree! Adults can enjoy this flavorful Mediterranean-inspired meal, a trip to the salad bar and a beverage for just $6. Parents are encouraged to eat with their kids and the community is invited to come for lunch between 12:10 and 12:40 p.m.
